I did get some pretty fricken awesome deals at the convention, such as:
The rest of the day was a wonderfuly luxurious romp through the South End with my Schmoopie, full of thrift stores, electronics and visiting my Brother & family.
It was at the Thrift Stores that I found the greatest finds! First off, many nice little stacks of Magic: The Gathering! Got a Magical Hack in one of them, so I think it was worth the $1.99 investment.
Then there was the MIB X-Men Boxed Set of action figures for $3 and the MIB Thor Marvel Masterworks figre for $9 and a vintage KISS puzzle for 99-cents. WOOT!
I am looking forward to these new weekday weekends we'll be getting to spend together VERY much!
- Bluntman and Chronic action figures, $5 for the set
- Captain America and Daredevil Coffee Mugs, $5 for the set
- The old Magic: The Gathering PC game for $1
- First appearances of Lobo, Spider-Woman and Jubilee for $2.50 each
- A nicely vintage issue of Marvel Super Heroes from 1968 for $5
- ...And of course a bevy of great stuff from The Quarter Bins
