Thankosity

khristle summed up all the serious and wonderful stuff that we have to be thankfull for this year, so that's really a "Been There, Done That" for the day. Loving wife, gainfull employment, good health, baby girl on the way, good familly, good friends. And I'm sure there will be A LOT of such posts here on LJ today.

But what aout the little, superficial things?

I personally am thankful for tons of superficial stuff this year!

(1) I am thankfull that the Marvel Legends action figures are finally popping up in local WalMart stores! No more paying $35 for an $8 figure at a convention!

(2) I'm thankfull for the Emerald City Comic Con which finally brings a taste of professional East-Coast comic fandom to the majestic Pacific North-West.

(3) I'm thankfull that they released season 1 of Lost on DVD before they started showing the new Season Two episodes. Without that mini-marathon the weekend before the premeire we would have been LOST!

(4) Thankfull for my DVD burner, which has saved me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS on new DVD's. I shall buy a full season of Greatest American Hero and only watch it once NEVER AGAIN!

(5) SO THANKFULL that Rory and Loreli are back together! This weeks episode finally restored the Gilmore Magic with Rory's introduction to Paul Anka, Luke's sister's exploding rolls, and the entire Ren Faire contingent taking over he Dragonfly Inn for Thanksgiving. It's back to being a sweetly bitter show rather than a SERIOUSLY bitter one :)

(6) And of course, no list of thankfullness woul be complete without mentioning my beloved "Klingon Warrior Academy" sticker on our car. A sticker that says to the world "Yes you may have beaten me and taken my lunch money in '86, but now my people OWN THE WORLD!!!
