Convention contemplation

Most years I just go to The Convention with little or no plan in mind other than "Go there and buy cool stuff till I pass out". But this year? This year I am formulating a plan...

Summer 1978.

I am going to focus mainly on getting comics cover-dated from June to August of 1978, all types/genres. Then on my way home I'm gonna stop by 7-11 and fill my The Mighty Thor Slurpee Cup with an appropriately vintage flavor (nothing with the term "Extreme" in the title) and maybe a Big Wheel Ice-Cream Sandwich (if they still make them).

Then I'm gonna go home, pop my Superfriends Season 1 DVD in to the DVD player (which just so happens to be hooked up to an old 70's console television), put on my Superman pajamas and read comics until I have successfully become 5 years old again.

I'm SURE it will work!

That is one fine plan, you and your baby beast can grow up together. Her friends won't under stand why she calls you daddo, but small price to pay.
