Disney Links for when I get a chance at home. I visit these nearly daily here at work!
The Last Day for Pirates of The Carribean. Excellent professional-quality pictures from one of the top three rides at Disney Land. Taken on the last day before it was closed for rennovations, this may very well be the last time you see The Pirates without blatant references to the Johnny Depp movie series. I'm sad to see the original go, but excited to see how the new one turns out!
Re-Imagineering. Directly from the blog's description, "A forum for Pixar and Disney professionals passionate about the Disney Theme Parks to catalog past Imagineering missteps and offer up tenable practical solutions in hopes that a new wave of creative management at Imagineering can once again bring back some of the wonder and magic that's been missing from the parks for decades". This blog is incredible and inspiring and hopefull. Unlike other on-line communities that are full of petty bitching and moaning about "Walt never would have wanted it like this", we have here a Blog of the people who *can* make a difference, airing their concerns and sharing their ideas freely and openly. It's been a long time since I've been so excited about the future of Disney, and I love these guys for that :)
