teegin has never heard of Freecycle!
http://www.freecycle.org is a great big hippie love fest that goes on the principal of "One Man's Junk Is Another Man's Treasure". You have to signy up for a Yahoo Group to join, but once you do you get a TON of mail every day from people who are cleaning out their garages, upgrading their furniture, or just getting rid of stuff that they no longer need/want. It's yours! All you've got to do is come and get it!
khristle and I have gotten tons of stuff from Freecycle. Everything from computer systems to furniture to Baby Clothes... even comic books and Babylon 5 Co0llectable Card Game cards!
So if you need something like a new office chair or a computer desk or a couch or really pretty much ANYTHING... or if you've got some stuff that you should really just give up on and let somebody else have... go ahead and sign up! There's bound to be a Freecycle Group for whatever area you're willing to drive to! I think we currently belong to Freecycle Seattle, Everett and possibly East Side?
