Buyers Remorse

Once the PS2 came down to $199, I instantly went out and got one (accumulated over $200 credit at Gamestop.com stores by selling them old Nintendo games I find at gaage sales). I've had it for only 4 days or so, and I am all ready bored with it. I mean, I have the PC to play games on... I have a DVD player to watch movies on... why do i need a Play Station 2? I've been looking at all the games for it, too, and there's not really anything that interests me! I think I'm gonna take it back tonight or tomorrow morning, unless someone can think of a reason why I shouldn't.

Well, check out my journal entry for today and view the E3 video. If you like what you see, trade that PS2 in for an XBox. Just do an exchange. :)

After that, I can get you hooked up and playing games like Halo and Tony Hawk 3 online.

See, that's my thought. The XBOX toasts the PS2. The only reason to play with a PS2 in my mind is for some of the games, but for pure ass-kicking the XBOX has it.

Personally, I'd rather have a sweet laptop and a persistent net connection (holy god does metered dialup suck), but the XBOX is my choice over the PS2 any day.

Sadly, Maaike insists that a PS2 is what we'll end up with, since the XBOX does not have TEKKEN. :(

Other advantages to the PS2 has (other than a bunch of kick-butt fighting games and easy-to-handle controlers) is that the DVD player is built in, and you can play all the PS1 games on it. But anyway, we thought it over, and decided to trade it in for credit. Check out my latest post to see what all we got!
