vhshorrors and I'm really digging that scene. It's a community for the celebration and sharring of those great VHS horror film video boxes that the kids of today will probably never get a chance to really know and love like we did when growing up. DVD cases are just too slick and homoginized, ya know? And "99-CENT RENTAL" stickers just peel right off their plastic-covered exterior way too easilly.
vhshorrors is all about that over-sized cardboard box or plastic "clamshell" case that's ben through bazillions of others hands before it got to you. Battered, worn, "Two-Fer-Tuesday" stickers half peeled off... and that's just the stuff that the rental store did to it! The ARTWORK on the box usually was created SPECIFICALLY for the video tape release and is better than any movie poster could have ever been! Just CLICK HERE and check out the cover image of 1995's "Ice Cream Man" starring Clint Howard to see what I mean!
