UGH!

I'm stuck on a long call :(

She's drunk :(

She won't give up :(

She's got a router, and she knows it's gotta work because it was working earlier today :(

And no matter how many times I tell her we don't support the router, she still insists that I stay on the line with her while she checks "just one more thing".

And she keeps asking me about stuff that has nothing to do with the internet.

"Could a bad battery cause me to not see the connection?"

"What about this 'Microsoft Money'... is THAT a program that might block my internet?"

"Are you SURE I don't need both the Ethernet and USB cables hooked up? I'm going to go ahead and hook those back up again."

"Maybe I can fix it over Labor Day Weekend... what are you doing for Labor Day Weekend? I *love* Labor Day Weekend... wanna know what *I* have planned for Labor Day Weekend?"

"OOH! The screen just turned all blue with white letters on it! Let's see here... you want me to read it to you? I'll go ahead and read it to you..."

Okay, she's gone now... thank GAWD! On my way home :)

I dunno... at least face-to-face she could have picked up on my body language and constant eye-rolling, maybe felt uncomfortable and noticed that I was saying "Oh yeah, try THAT, see if THAT works" in a SARCASTIC way instead of encouragingly.

No, I take that back. You're right. Face-To-Face woudl have sucked more. She might have decked me if she could have seen me!
