Just incredible

I knew that getting The Lap Band would change my life in one way or another, but i really wasn't prepared for THIS. I'm no longer hungry, I no longer get cravings, and I'm completely satisfied off of just a few sips of broth! I'm still in quite a bit of pain which is expected, since they DID cut me and tinker with my tum-tum, but the pain is slowly yet surely going away.
Never thought I'd be saying such a thing, but I really DO think that this operation was an excellent idea! I was very skeptical going in to it, but now I'm a full-on believer!
I have decided to name my Lap Band "Ron Jeremy", because just the thought of Ron Jeremy being inside of me makes me lose my apetite.
P&C were nice enough to let us borrow Brittany over the weekend, and I really don't see how we could have done it without her. She was an absolute godsend, taking care of Molly and fetching me drinks all the time. I tried to reward her with the gift of Irene (the bottom-half of a manequin that we converted in to a floor lamp many years ago), but P&C declined. I guess once you get non-used furniture that all matches, it's hard to accept half a manequin in to your home. So Irene has been promised to Brit as part of the furnishings for her first apartment, whenever that may happen :)
We got about 80% of Britan't costume for the ECCC completed this weekend, I just need to re-do the lightning bolt. It came out all funky.
khristle seems to be havng a blast sewing it al together, though, and her skills just grow more and more impressive each day!
