In other news, my Parents got me the gaudiest, mot un-comfortale watch in the WORLD for my Birthday. I don't want to seem ungrateful, but this thing rips the hair off my wrist, pinches my skin and is somewhat reminiscent of the Big Ugly Bracelet that Joey bought for Chandler on "Friends". It is VERY GOLD. VERY 70's. I tried to wear it for a while with all the tags still on it so my parents wouldn't be offended, then my Mom INSISTED that I take the tags off and "Get a feel for it". So now I can't even return it for a non-pinchy-hurty-gaudy watch! To be fair, i don't really despise the fact that it's gaudy... I HEART gaudy ugly things! And I know that if it didn't put me in physical PAIN to wear it, I'd totaly be rockin' it hard-core! I have no idea what that means...

maybe you could alter it so it is comfortable? maybe by even making it more gaudy? like adding a purple velvet sleeve over the band, then adding feathers or leopard skin fringe or shiny sparkly glittery things... if you add a sleeve of something soft or furry or fuzzy it would definitely be more comfortable wouldn't it? then you are still wearing the watch, and if your parents complain you could say the sleeve was a gift from someone else and you didn't want to offend them by removing it, would you???
