I created an LJ community for the CCG "The Spoils", not that anybody but me, teegin and baeleth play. But still, I think it was important to have one! I want to start a little "The Spoils" league where random players can hook-up and post their results for other fans of the game to see, have an unofficial ranking system and whatnot... ya know? Sound slike fun!
Because really, one of the funnest parts of The Spoils is talking about the game afterward... it really creates some hillarious scenarios (such as a sneaky mansion wearing Rocket Boots and a Big Floppy Hat of Invisiility) :)

It's the CCG that Jon, Troy and I used to play all night long. Think of Mgic: The Gathering only with looser rules, More juvenile humor and an aditional characteristic to take in to account ("Strength" and "Toughness" are now accompanied by "Speed"). It also hels to think of it as a cross betwen M:TG's "Unglued" expansion and a Xanth novel :)

Cards are available for purchase at most comic book and gaming stores now, $10 for a starter and $3.99 for a booster.

Not Munchkin, not Chez Geek... this really, REALLY is just Magic: the Gathering with different words and a juvenile-yet-serious approach. I mean really, EXACT SAME GAME MECHANICS. Supprised they got away with it without being sued!
