Molly finally screamed herself to sleep at some time betwen 11:30 and Midnight last night. The thing that finally worked was just sitting in a completely dark, completely quiet livingroom and holding her totaly still for about 7 minutes while she screamed her head off. No idea what's gotten in to this little girl :(

Mornings, however, continue to be great! We woke-up at 7:45 this morning and played a few rounds of "Sille Daddy You Don't Need No Binky That's MY Binky!" before getting up and having breakfast (leftover Peaches-N-Oatmeal that NEEDED to be eaten or tossed out in a day or two, plus half a Bananna from JD's Fruit Stand (yes, the same "JD's Fruit Stand that sold me my Grapefruit Of Spidery DOOM a few months back).

Lunch will probably be the leftover Beanie-Weenies that she didn't eat yesterday.

Dinner, I have no idea what I'm gonna make. For Molly it's easy, I can just toss a random piece of meat on the Foreman Grill, nuke some Peas and ad a scoop of Mashed Taters. DINNER! But for Crystal and me it's a bit more complicated... she wants to go a bit lower-carb than she has been going, so I need to lay in a few of my old standby LC Crusader supplies. Donna need Mozarella, Parmesan and Ricotta cheeses, some mushrooms and of couse a generous helping of Pork Rinds (they make an EXCELLENT crispy coating when crushed-up)!

But that's all for some other day, when I have time to visit The Store. No idea what to make tonight with the stuff I have on-hand.

Yeah, we still have our addresses... captain_slinky@comcast.net and khristle@comcast.net... are you getting a bounce-back or something?

Weird.

Anywho, glad you contacted me! One of my on-line friends who saw Britt's costume from ECCC was incredibly impressed an wants to send her a gift! It's a mary Marvel hand bag that she made her self - from one costumer/seamstress to another. All I need is to give her your mailing address...

And tonight in Kitchen Stadium The Chairman is proud to present the secret ingredient...

... LEFTOVAHS!

What is he going to do with those beanie weenies? Wait! No! Yes! He's heading right for the ice cream maker! Of all the things we've seen here on Iron Chef, this must be right up there for the most daring!

I love on that show how they always take the oddest foods to the ice cream machine. I mean, who wouldn't be refreshed by a fresh trout sorbet?

Did you ever get to see the poorly thought-out first version of the American Iron Chef hosted by William Shatner? *Shudder*

I still prefer the originals, but can make do with the Alton Brown American version as long as they avoid Boby Flay. LORDY how I hate Bobby "Corn & Cilantro On Everything" Flay!

I missed the Shatner version but according to the wiki the chefs and records from Iron Chef USA aren't even considered "canon" by Iron Chef America. Pretty funny.

I want to see Mario Batali vs. Emeril Lagasse with beef or pork being the secret incredient.

And then I want to eat everything they cook.

And all in honor of the late Julia Childs. "And now, it is time to season our food. I recommend a half stick of butter for the meat and another half stick for the vegetables and another half stick for the salad. Oh what the heck, refill my wine glass and we'll make it a stick each!"

My vocal impression of her catches people off guard it is apparently so good. I just loved watching her.
