We've got a real live THUNDER STORM!!! Dark, windy, pouring rain, thunder & Lightning... this just might put a kibosh on our plans of doing The Drive-In tonight!

(btw, it's a double-feature of "Transformers" and "Live Free Or Die Hard")

We have oth Brittany AND Haley spending the night tonight with the promise of a drive-in double feature, but there's no way any of us would enjoy the flick if we're all crammed in to the station wagon for the duration.

Other options are to either (a) go to a real heater to see a single movie, or (b) enjoy a night of games and movies here in the apartment.

I'm leaning towards a "Game Night" since I think it would be a HOOT to play ZOMBIES with two teenage girls and my Schmoopie, plus I might be receiving my GAME SHOW WINNINGS in the mail today! And since my Game Show Winnings are a bunch of different games, what better opportunity to try them out?

I'm such a 'tard. I totally didn't realise that was thunder until a few minutes ago. I thought it sounded like distant construction noises. I'm not always the sharpest tool in the shed, ya see.
We were planning on trying that movie in the park thing tonight at Silverlake, but we'll see. Last I heard, it's supposed to clear up later. So there's still hope! :P

Over The Hedge. I don't really know much about that one, but it looks alright I s'pose. In any case, we haven't seen it yet. The only crappy thing is that even if the weather does clear up, it'll probably still be a bit soggy out there. Ah well. I'm intrigued by the wooden race car building thing! I might just have to go for that!

Over The Hedge is good... we saw it in the Real Theater last year. Not as good as "Hoodwinked", but pretty darned good!

Ended up not going to the drive-in. They have a strict "Stay In Your Damn Car - No Outside Chairs" rule, which would have left The Girls in the back seat unable to see anything. Had the girls been younger/smaller, we probably would have given them sleeping bags and let them camp-out on top of the station wagon (which they're totally okay with at the drive-in), but we opted for Swimming, Pizza and MST3K instead :)
