The eginning of an End

Went to The Comic Stop last night and canceled my Subscription Box. I just don't have the time or the money to devote to The Hobby any more, ya know? From now on all the comics I buy will be at conventions, out of discount bargain bins. I can no longer justify spending $3 to $4 for 32 pages of art and words, regardless of how good they are.

I have the last of my box with me now; 3 issues of "Invincible", 3 issues of "Ultimate Fantastic Four", 2 issues of "The Walking Dead" and 1 issue of "Knights of The Diner Table".

That's $30 worth of comics... $30 I could be saving towards opening my OWN store some time down the line!

Hmmm... I hadn't thought about it! When is it again? I might have to see if I can arrange that particular outing...

I've thought about cutting back myself and treating myself to trades instead. I'll probably drop Spider-Man in the fall anyway because they are combining all 3 titles which means instead of the one title I pay for now, my cost will triple because they'll be coming out with 3 a month (so I've heard).
