Fandom Help!
Sep. 20th, 2007 08:01 amHey everybody! I need some help for yet ANOTHER game that I'm developing (seems like I'm ALWAYS trying to make a game of some sort or another, doesn't it? or is that just me who realizes that?)
Anywho, what I'm looking for is the Four Cornerstones of Fandom. Sure there are tons of lil' fandoms out there, but what would you consider to be the Top Four that inspire the largest and most insane amounts of devotion and/or contempt for other opposing fandoms? So far the ones I'm considering are Star Trek, Star Wars, Harry Potter and Lord of The Rings.
Also, with each of these things I need 25-to-40 different one-sentence "Points" that prove THIS fandom totally rules.
This is inspired by the classic debates that occur whenever Fandoms clash and try to one-up each other with points such as "Yeah but Star Trek has Kirk nailing all those hot green chicks!" which can be countered by "Excuse me? If you wanna talk about who brought the sexy back, you need look no further than Princess Leia in her slave outfit!"
So for the Fandom of Star Trek, we've got "Kirk's masculinity" and "Hot Green Chicks" as opposed to the Star Wars Fandom getting points for "Princess Leia" and "Gold Slave Bikini".
Got it? Good! Now GO my minions! BRING ME FANDOMS AND COOL STUFF ABOUT SAID FANDOMS!!!
