Like a Woot-Off, only cheaper stuff
Sep. 26th, 2007 01:06 pmThe website ThingFling.com is having a "Wacky Wednesday" day today with new items listed every 10 minutes.
Okay, so what does that mean?
Okay, you remember my posts about Woot.com, where you could get really nifty stuff for really nifty prices once a day, and once they sold out that's all you'd ever get of that item 'cuz it's like a clearance or an overstock or some such nonsense? Like I got my XM Satelite Radio MP3 player with three months of free service for $15 from them (normal price at the time was $125)?
Okay, ThingFling.com is kinda like them, only with not-as-cool of stuff. But *today* they are having a "Wacky Wednesday", which means three things:
Keep an eye on 'em today! New item every ten minutes!

Okay, ThingFling.com is kinda like them, only with not-as-cool of stuff. But *today* they are having a "Wacky Wednesday", which means three things:
- New stuff they've never listed before at a "Test Price"
- Stuff they've had trouble getting rid of so they've dropped the price drmatically
- Stuff they have been selling all year long for $20-$30 a pop that they just want to clear out, so it's going for 99-cents.
Keep an eye on 'em today! New item every ten minutes!

Date: 2007-09-26 11:46 pm (UTC)I opened the page, wasn't interested in what was up there at the time, but left it open to check back. I just went back, and they had two shower radios for $12.99! Celebration! I've been meaning to get a shower radio! Like, it was top on my list. Our shower is two loud and closed-off for me to hear my stereo through the shower door. Anyway, It only had less than a minute left, so I went all impulsive and clicked the button to buy it. But... I didn't have an account yet. I stuck in all my info, got the account all set up, but it didn't save the order. By then, the deal was GONE! DAMMIT!
Because, y'know, I'm sure you wanted to know all that. The end!
