A little worried
Oct. 24th, 2007 01:33 pmStarting two days before my most recent "Fill" of my Lap Band (which is a grand total of 3 days ago), I started experiencing a feeling not unlike heartburn.
Heart burn is NOT a feeling that you want to have when there is a plastic do-hickey wrapped around the upper-part of your tum-tum; it can mean pretty much just one of three things:
The "Too Tight" option would be the more preferable of the two options, as it's easy to just go in and have them let out a bit of the fill. But this started TWO DAYS before my most recent fill, so that's not a very likely scenario.
Unfortunately, the "Slipped" option is EXTREMELY painful and expensive :(
But just now as I've been typing this, i remembered a THIRD thing that this feeling could mean; it could mean that I'm hungry. Haven't eaten since 7 this morning, so I *might* be a bit peckish? Time to go make a shake and hope for the best befor eheading over to

- The band is too tight
- The band has slipped out of position.
