(1) What was the first and only Disney film that starred Bruce Campbell?

(2) What famous pair of brothers created both "Land of the Lost" and "Wonderbug"?

(3) What rapper had a number-one hit with the song "Bust a Move"?

(4) Who is Cletus Cassady better known as, and who would you expect to see him fighting against?

(5) Who *did* frame Roger Rabbit?

1. Actually, he's been in two Disney films -- The Love Bug (which answers your question, because it was the first, in '97 I believe) and... ummm... something with Alyssa Milano, I forget the name of it.

2. Sid & Mary Krofft -- who did more than half the Saturday morning programming in the '70s.

3. Rap? Surely you jest.

4. Haven't a clue -- though knowing you, it's probably a comic book character, since you haven't asked another comic book question here. :-)

5. Judge Doom!

Heehee - #3 was one of the ones I *did* know. Young MC, circa 1988. That wasn't actual rap as much as that late-80's kind of summery hip-hopish party music along the lines of "It Takes Two" and, well, anything Naughty By Nature ever did. :)

Cletus Cassidy is a comic book meme; it rings a bell, but sadly, the cord attaching it to the bell is tangled in with lots of other cords leading to bells that ring when I hear a set of digits similar to a phone number I had five apartments ago, when I meet someone whose last name sounds like it ought to be a spice used in mideastern cooking that I can't quite remember the taste of and the entire chorus of bells that jangle when obscure bit-part actors from 70's TV shows randomly show up on Friends episodes.

Ah HA! You fell in to my little Bruce Campbell TRAP! MWA HA HA HA HAAAA! You see, the Love Bug remake that Bruce starred in technically is not technically a film! It was concieved and shot as a two-part pilot episode for a proposed series starring Bruce, to be shown as part of the Sunday night "Wonderful World of Disney" (you know how they love to do that stuff... "You loved it so much, we made it in to a regular series!). Of course, the series never happened and instead they filmed a pilot episode of a sit-com starring Bruce as a golf pro, somewhat fashioned after Kevin Costner's movie "Tin Cup". The pilot episode never aired though (thankfully) and has been lost in the Disney archives much like the Ark of the Covenant at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

But anyway, back to Love Bug... so they went ahead and aired the 2-part show on Wonderful World of Disney, then decided to slap the two episodes together and show them as a "Movie Special" during the summer re-runs. They then took this specially edited "Movie Special" and released it on video, which gave it the official standing of "Movie".

However, the *other* Disney work that Bruce did... that's different. I won't give away the name, but it was actually shot and released theatrically WORLD WIDE (well, okay... select theaters in America and Canada, with a limited release in Europe) before being released to video AND television simultaneously here in the States. CAN YOU NAME THIS FILM?!?!? *HINT*: He was CHARMED to be in a movie with his female co-star :)

i figured you might be talking about "Gold Rush" for the Bruce Campbell movie after the mention of Alyssa Milano...the only thing is, i didn't think it was a theatrical release...thot it was a tv movie...
