Bootleg Xmas
Nov. 12th, 2007 01:36 pmHow would you feel if you received Bootleg DVD's for Christmas?
I don't mean some Street-Corner shaky-cam DVD's you bought from "some guy".
I mean a very nice, compact portfolio of Christmas Films with all the IMDB information printed out for you. Something that would have actually taken some time and some thought to come up with.
I'm torn. on the one side, I think it qualifies as a "Home Made" Christmas Gift. Like the year that one of my Cousins gave me a 6-hour video tape of Disney Channel (from back when Disney Channel was a pay-channel) with all the commercials edited out. That was pretty awesome!
On the other hand, it could be seen as something cheap and silly, like a Xerox copy of a Comic Book.
(Don't bother replying re: the moral and legal implications of making copies of DVD's, please).
