Lots of updates posted over the past few days on the ECCC website which are all summarized quite nicely by *me* over at the emeraldcitycon community (with nearly 18 members! WOOT!)

The biggest news is that we'r enow an official "Stop" on the DC Nation Convention Circuit, with an appearanc eby DC Comics Head Honcho Dan Didio! This is the first step towards us becoming the next San Diego!

And the toughest news has been that this year they're accepting applications for VOLUNTEERS. What to do? Sacrifice 6 hours of my convention experience for a free shirt and admission? Or pay full price so I can just sit back and enjoy the show?

Decisions, decisions...
