captain_slinky20 minutes ago, I owned a full set of 8 1973 Archie Comics Promotional Collectors Glasses (Hot Dog Series) in mint condition which I displayed proudly on a shelf in my living room along with several vintage collectible Slurpee cups of the 1970's.
I now own *ONE* 1973 Archie Comics Promotional Collectors Glass, a bag of jagged colorful sparkly-sharpness and one cat with a shoe planted in his ass.
It's the closest I've ever come to being in tears over "Stuff".

Date: 2008-08-13 02:34 am (UTC)This recently happened to my best friend - she collects Depression glass. It wasn't the cat, but her hutch shelf that gave way. The middle shelf collapsed, destroying three-quarters of three generations of a collection.
