Many thanks to aquatwo who made my entire day a little bit brighter with this bit of UNDENIABLE PROOF that the "Abstinence only" policy truly does work (except for those times when it doesn't).

And as a note to my Republican friends, this isn't a "Republicans Are So Stupid" post. This is a "Oh the IRONY of it all" post :)

And i agree that it's irrelevent to the campaign... but it *is* hilariously ironic to me! hence the "Oh the IRONY of it all" disclaimer :)

I especially enjoyed the pre-emptive defensivness about all this from the evangelical leaders. "Yes, this kid has been sperm-injected...AND THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT, AND ANYONE YOU SAYS OTHERWISE IS A LIBERAL HEATHEN WHO HATE BABIES AND SUNSHINE."

Also, one can't help but sense a little hypocrisy here. If Obama had a teenage kid that was pregnant, I assume the far right would've rolled out a good deal of thinly veiled "Well, that's what you get with those types" hick talk.

Instead, we get supportive hick talk. Huzzah!
