gamera_spinning - Campbell's bought two two-page advertisements in the December and January issues of The Advocate, which features a lesbian couple and their son, and apparently the Catholic Church thinks this is going to destroy the fabric of civilization and the folks at catholic.com are apparently asking folks to call Campbell's to protest their "supporting the homosexual agenda".)
See, here's the deal. I *know* that 98% of folks who are Religious are NOT Crazy Religious Fanatics like this. Most Religious folks I have personally known are nice, level-headed, fair, good people. But that other 2% are what keep me away from joining ANY type of organized Religion.
No, actually it's the fact that the 98% haven't done a darned thing to stop that 2%. THAT'S what i hate about organized Religion!
DAMN it feels good to have finally figured that out! Sometimes all it takes is typing it out in LJ to get my head around it :)
