THAT'S HOW THEY ENDED THE FRIGGIN' SERIES?!?!? ARE YOU FRIGGIN' KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!

Now I have to go download all of Angel to fill in the little gaps, and then hunt down the entire Buffy Comic Series.

I have half a mind to call my niece RIGHT NOW and complain about that ending!

I don't think there is a whole lot more info on them in the Angel series after Buffy ended. Of course it has been a lot of years since I watch it so I may be wrong. I watched the first couple of seasons of Buffy on hulu not long ago but don't have the others.

BAHAHA! YES! I loved it, haha - it's SUCH a Joss thing to do <3 The man's a genius, an evil evil one at that, but a genius none the less. When I met him, I told him he was my hero, and then I called him a killer and he gave me a hug.

You totally have to watch Angel! Have you seen it before? It's got a totally different feel to it than Buffy does - but I still love it!

AND YES! The Buffy comics are awesome!! :D

My only exposure to Joss Whedon before this Buffy-Thon had been with Firefly and the few episodes of Rosanne that he had worked on.

Buffy was awesome! I only hope that I like Angel as much... I have a feeling that I won't, becuase the same people who say I'll love Angel are usually the samr ones who said I would love Torchwood. STILL haven't made it past the third episode of that snore-fest!

Angel is probably my least favorite part about Angel (except when he becomes Angelus)! Just get past the first season (it's good - but it wasn't my favorite) and it's all up hill from there (except maybe when they bring Connor on.. Connor is like Angel, but worse - they're both so broody and emo).
Also - I love Torchwood, but honestly, it takes A LOT for me to not like a sci-fi/fantasy show.. In fact, thinking on it, I haven't watched one I didn't like yet - sooo...

BUT just sayin, In Joss We Trust! :D

There's not much about Buffy in the Angel series. Somethign about who owned what when Buffy went from the WB to UPN. They almost never mentioned each other (except on special occasions).

I've never read the comics yet (on my list of things to do).

Luckilly, Dark Horse has been reprinting the entire series in "Omnibus" form! So HOORAY for very large trade paperback collections!

Yeah, I really wish they'd spun off a slayers series. I've never gotten into Angel; it was just too different of a feel for me.

The comics were good, though. (Also, have you read Fray? Not about Buffy, but slayer related.)

The Buffy Series 8 comic series is pretty good. So is the Angel 'After the Fall' series. But you want to watch Angel first. The first season is a bit slow, it picks up speed thru S3. I wasn't impressed with S4, but S5 was beyond awesome. At which point the WB decided to end it. Which is probably why that network no longer exists.

Angel is good for finding about where some Buffy characters dissappeared to during Buffy. Via the crossovers. Personally I lvoe teh darker feel to Angel as it is supposed to be Angel's life. Which is a lot darker. I thought it was well done and Joss is god.
