Out of Left Field

Despite the onslaught of excellent suggestions when i asked "So what should I watch next now that I've finished Buffy and Angel?", including all the series that I suggested for myself, I've decided to go with something that no one suggested and I had forgotten that I needed to see it... for closures sake.

I stayed with this show religiously through it's first season and several comic book mini-series. It went on for a grand total of FIVE SEASONS, a remarkable run for any show let alone a Sci-Fi program that started out on FOX.

So what am I watching next?

it had so much potential but they wasted it. if only they would have been consistent and played up the cromags, alternate sliders, and other storylines better, rather than trying to save the show with tits and ripping off everything else they could. ... i swear, this could have been an awesome show... btu instead it was only good.

for the record, i'm at the end of season 3 in netflix on it... but i've seen most episodes before back when it was on. i'm just watching all of them in order and without missing any this time.

Well i guess I'll have to catch up to you before I see you again so you don't give away any potential spoilers! I *thinbk* I may have watched a few of the second-season episodes before losing track of it completely, then tuned in once we got the SciFi Channel and was COMPLETELY lost. So yeah, the CroMags... wtf was up with that? I'm sure I'll grow to love the concept...

I always thought the first 2 seasons were the best. Couldn't bear to watch after that. But hey, not a bad place to start when looking for a new universe to explore.

Yeah, while I love the show as a whole, it really started going down hill & by the end it was just a mess. Still, it never hit a point where I gave up on it & it even ended in a way that gave me hope that it could come back to it's former glory. Even if it was only in my immagination.

I won't say here 'cause you've asked for no spoilers but I can tell you exactly where the show took it's first wrong turn & exactly how I think they could have rectified it.
