captain_slinkyI met "The Host" once back when that's all he was known as... "The Host". He was making an appearance at The Mid Ohio Comic Con. At the time i was not a fan of Buffy or Angel or anything Whedonesque yet due to my being all of the Suck.
Andy Hallet and somebody else from Angel were there, and they were hosting a special event that night in the bar of the hotel where the convention was being held. I met the two of them in The Elevator (the same elevator where I med Lou Ferrigno, but that's a different name-dropping story) and they seemd like pretty awesome guys. They asked me if I was going to The party, i said no. They tried for 7 floors to convince me that if i missed this party i would regret it for the rest of my life!
Once I started watching Angel and got to know the character, I regretted not having gone ot The party.
Now that Andy Hallet is dead, i REALLY regret not having gone to the party :(
