Saw only one "Tea Bagger" out there today in Woodinville. I really had no idea that so many rich white folks have been being taxed without any form of representation for all these years! It's about time somebody stood up for them!

What we really need is some sort of Democracy or something where everybody who wants to vote is allowed to vote, and then whatever ideas get the most votes would be the ones we go with UNLESS, of course, the majority of the people who vote end up proving just how stupid they are by voting in favor of something that I don't agree with. because then I would be being taxed without representation! Except for, y'know, the way that I voted and all.

WHEN WILL IT END?!?!?

If not for the "No Taxation Without Representation" sign, I would have just assumed that she REALLY hated tea :/

The Tea Party Protests around the country today are not supposed to be about taxation without representation, but rather how our representation is taxing us. The government is committing us to a national debt that will either bankrupt the country or burden our great great grandkids with such massive taxes the economy will again collapse. When the government prints money out of thin air (as it has done to the tune of trillions this year) it feeds the economy in the short term but leads to crippling inflation in future years. There is a reason that when our grandparents were kids things were so cheap and now they are so expensive.

So I admire the woman's spirit, but think she should have researched her outrage a bit more before putting sniffy pen to cardboard.

Yeah, that's the big problem. Much like all the "Overturn Roe V Wade" protesters who think it would make Abortion illegal, I'd have to say that 80 to 90 percent of the Tea Baggers out there are joining the protest because they think that it will somehow lead to the impeachment of Obama. And as we all know, you can't trust a black man who's name sounds like "Osama"...

And the middle name Hussein? Also, didn't he say he came from Krypton? How can an ALIEN be President? Didn't we learn our lesson with Woodrow Wilson?!

Even if you don't like Olbermann, I highly suggest catching tonight's COUNTDOWN online. He's...milking...the story for all it's worth.

What I find funny about the whole "Obama is a Muslim" thing is that if he were why would he have risked the master plan and his entire political career by refusing to release his support of that mouthy Christian pastor of his? The dude almost lost any credibility in this country over that and with it not only the presidency but possibly reelection to the Senate. If he were a secret Muslim why hold on so hard. And wouldn't there be radical Muslims out to rip him apart for saying over and over and over ad nauseum that he was Christian if he were really Muslim?

It just makes no sense.

Welcome to the party that never stops. Be careful who you shake hands with. Don't drink the tea.

Passing through downtown, we saw a group of them at Westlake.. man, some of the signs were priceless..lol. The irony of someone holding a 'Taxation without Representation' on a town square paid for by tax dollars is completely lost on them. ONE guy was in the crowd holding a sign that said "Theses People are Stupid", which of course totally made my day.

We were on our way to the Mariners game, and my boyf was going to bring some signs that said "HEY IT'S GRIFFEY!" but he completely forgot. I really wish he had after we saw that crowd..

I also considered signs like "DOWN WITH TEA" and "TEA DRINKERS MAKE ME ANGRY" just to muddy-up the issue.
