Check it out! Ain't It Cool News says that when they release "The Ring" on DVD, they're also going to release the original Japanese version "Ringu"... which is supposedly much better by being much creepier. Ooooooh, I loves them creepy movies!

It is creepier, IMO. And none of that horse bit, either.

Though the fly on the screen was cooler in the American version.

Our friend Sam (an English bloke who saw the American version with us just a week after he had seen the Japanese version" summed up the horse-bit best. He said "Oh, hello Mister Horsie-on-a-boat! You are a pretty boy, aren't you? Yes you are! And even though these mysterious goings-on have definately something to do with horsies, I-I-I think - you know what I would like to do? i think I would like to *poke* you, Mister Horsie. Yes, how about that! Poke, poke, POKE! What do you think of *that* Mister horsie? Eh?"

Nope! It's an ultra-creepy movie... well, a *series* of movies over in Japan, but here they've just made the one movie so far. SPOOOKY!
