Obsession & "Friends"

Mollys' new obsession is The Nightmare Before Christmas. Not only is it her favorite movie right now, but it's the first time I've seen her get downright emotional over not getting to watch over and over again. Just as the credits begin to roll is when she starts begging to watch it again.

She is so obsessed that she has developed her very first Imaginary Friend; JACK! Jack The Pumpkin King goes everywhere and does everything with her today. She also tells me elaborate stories about how Jack is going to hold her hand and take her for a walk in the park and she'll get to play with his Ghost-Puppy and they'll go see Santa together and Santa will give them both candy canes and then they'll ride a horsie together and put their jammies on.

It's INTENSE!

Right now Molly & Jack are watching The Doodlebops for a change of pace.

Riley loves that movie. In fact, we're planning his first trip to Disneyland (he's only been to Disney World) for late October so he can see the Haunted Mansion dressed up as Nightmare Before Christmas - flights are cheap! You guys should come too.

He was 15 months the first time (too young!) and just a bit past 4 years the second time. He'll be almost 6 this time, which I think will be the best age, out of the three.
