Date: 2009-08-04 01:03 am (UTC)One of the most awesome things when I was a kid was when my dad's parents would come to Kauai & stay for a month at a shot... Allowed me to get to know them the way you can't if you never see your grandparents. (My mom's parents only came out a couple of times.) Even now i'm closer to that side of the family than the other.

However, there *is* weekly M:TG at the comic book place in Edmonds (that one on 99, up by Costco at about 180th?) that they keep asking me to come to... may have to assemble a Trading Folder and go! You up for it? I think it's a standard FNM thing...
