Torn

After seeing the Michael Jackson Special tonight, I'm torn. There's the half of me that has been conditioned by The Media to believe that Michael is some sort of twisted kid-toucher who likes to dangle babies out of hotel windows. But half of me wants to believe that he *is* just a very rich man who had a very bad childhood and just wants to help all the children he can feel loved in the way that he never did. Heck, I wish *I* had a rich pop-star who wanted to be my best friend when *I* was growing up!

I think I am changing my beliefs. I think that Michael Jackson really is what he claims to be, and I think he is a great man for wanting to be like that.
