The Full Story of Beth

Here's the write-up about my Sister's shooting incident... some of the comments are so spot-on it's uncanny!

She says it was "An Accident", because the gun is NEVER loaded and Barry had spilled her rolling papers and tobacco all over the bed. So OF COURSE she decided to pon the gun at his back while he was asleep... isn't that how EVERYBODY deals with spills?

Unofficial story from within the family and what I can piece together from knowing how Beth can lie/make "Creative Use" of The truth...

Garry (the twin brother of The Victim, Barry) had just gotten out of Rehab. He stopped at a convenience store to buy some beer so he could go "Celebrate" his rehabilitation with Barry and Beth at their place. They drank and drank and drank. Around 2:30 in the morning, Beth came to bed and found that Barry had passed-out while rolling cigarettes, spilling the tobacco and paper all over the bed. Beth yelled at Barry for a bit and he didn't get up to help clean up so she yelled something about getting the gun and shooting his drunk ass if he didn't get up to help clean up the mess. Barry continued to sleep or at least feign sleep. Beth got the gun, pointed it at Barry and said "IF YOU DON'T GET UP I'M GONNA SHOOT YOU IN THE BACK" and then the gun went off. Maybe she knew it was loaded, maybe she didn't... but when the gun went off it shocked EVERYBODY.

Is this the first time she has been charged with a felony?

PS: I remember what you said about her television stardom, but I would think those incidents would count as misdemeanors, or drunk and disorderly and the like.

I really have no idea... I know she's gone to jail SEVERAl times before for everything from Drunk Driving to Disorderly conduct to Drug possession to... she's been in jail a lot. But this would be her first thing that results in more than a month or so of jail time.
