'Cuz everybody's doing it...
  • Start using ChoreWars.com again... it's kinda awesome :)
  • Gym 3 days a week till Disneyland, twice a week after we get back
  • Use chicken in my meals at least twice a week... we really don't eat enough chicken around here, and there's SO MUCH that can be done with it!

Mmmmmmm... also, I have a pretty kick-arse recipe for chicken enchiladas :) And best of all, nost of the chicken recipes I have call for pre-cooked chicken, making my goal of twice-a-week chicken so much more achievable! Roast chicken on Monday, Chicken Tostada on Thursday!

Teriyaki(ish) Chicken

Make this. I promise everyone will love it.

Ingredients:
4 - 6 Chicken Breasts (frozen or thawed)
1 bottle Teriyaki sauce ( I use Island Teriyaki sauce, but I'm sure any brand will do)
1 C Onion, diced
1 can Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes
Cream Cheese (optional)

Directions:
Layer chicken in slow cooker. Add enough Teriyaki sauce to barely cover chicken. Evenly distribute onion, then top with tomatoes. Add dollops of cream cheese if desired.

Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or on low 6 to 7 hours.

Serve with rice and veggie of choice.

That's why it's optional. We like it, but some don't.

BTW...

Have you checked out www.mixingbowl.com yet? I love that place. I actually signed up and use it. Pretty cool.

Checking....

Ooh! A recipe site! Any reason to use it over something like "AllRecipies.com" or any other recipe sites? What brings you to Mixingbowl over any others?

No clue. I like being able to join the groups and give my opinion, but don't know if that's different than anywhere else.

All the recipes are from other "real people", not celebrity chefs, tv stars, restaurant owners, etc.
