DISNEYLAND!!!

I have purposely avoided writing about or even THINKING about his till today.

Today is exactly ONE WEEK till I get to go to DISNEYLAND!

There are a lot of "Firsts" involved with this trip. It's the first time I've ever gone for just one day. It's the first time I've ever gone with my Sister. It's the first time I'm ever going in June. First time I'll be there while NOTHING is closed for refurbishment!

I'll wake up Jan at the ungodly hour of 6:30am (giving her maybe 6 hours of sleep?) so she can shower and get dressed and have some coffee before we drive to The Park and stand at the gates so we can be the first ones in at 8am. There's nothing awesomer than being one of the first people in the gate, getting to see Disneyland *empty* and filling up all around you :)

But of course! And look up on Main Street to see if the light is on in Walt's office... and try to pull Excalibur out of the stone... and wave "Hi George!" at the end of Star Tours...

So much to do, so little time! Still, I'm jealous.

I thought Captain Eo was gone.

I've only been there twice, but of that list, I've only missed Buzz Lightyear Astroblast. Pretty sure it wasn't there last time I went. They were renovating a lot of Tomorrowland last time I was there.

I hope you have a blast and get to do all that and more! :D

Yeah! You go to the gift shop outside The Pirates of The Caribbean, near the back of the shop there's a huge barrel full of loose (fake) Gems. You get to fill up a little black cloth bag for $5! Molly loves them :)

Are you planning to go to DCA? If so, you have to do the Toy Story shooting ride on the Boardwalk area. It's sooo awesome.

Going to avid DCA this time because World of Color just opened and I really want to avoid that crowd... but if Jan insists (since it will probably be her last visit there for a while) I'll go over there and do everything DCA has to offer :)

Why is churro's not on your list o fthings to eat in Disneyland? it's friend dough with cinnamon and sugar that's the length of one's forearm! COME ON! REALLY? REALLY? *facepalm*

Well you've got to remember that I can't eat very much because of the Lap Band, and I really had to pick and choose what I'm eating! Also had to factor in the cost/enjoyment ratio. Churros are indeed a wonderful snack, but they just didn't make the cut this time :(
