So I open the Spam, and it's an HTML document. Sure enough, at the top of the page it says "OWN TODAY'S HOTTEST MOVIES ON DVD!!! ALL YOU PAY IS SHIPPING!!!" And over to the side are pictures of "Today's Hottest Movies"... movies like "The Blues Brothers", "Three Men & A Baby", "Deep Impact", and the Arnold Schwarzeneger/Danny Divito film "Twins".
So all I can figure is that when they said "Today's Hottest Hits", they meant all the films that have been historically "Hot" on this day, March 21st, over the past several years. Either that, or the offer is from Canada... everyone knows that Canada is at least 6 years behind us in the field of Entertainment.
