Ears, Nestor...

Okay now, SERIOUSLY... I am a GROWN, ADULT, MAN. I should be done with this type of stuff.

And yet every year... EVERY! YEAR! I try to watch the Rankin Bass classic "Nestor The Long-Eared Christmas Donkey", and every year it makes me cry. ***SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T HAD THE TIME TO SEE THIS FILM IN THE PAST 30+ YEARS*** When Nestor's mommy dies in the snow storm protecting Nestor from the cold? JEEPERS H CRIPES!!! It makes me cry uncontrollably! I'm even crying right now just typing about it!

Every year I start watching it, thinking "This is my year! This is the year I'm not going to cry when Nestor's mommy dies!" and then the moment comes and I think I'm doing it! I'm really gonna make it this time! I'm gonna - " And then Nestor starts crying and I start crying and Nestor says through his tears "Ears, Nestor" just like his mommy always did and...

Okay, I have to stop now :(

If Nestor makes you cry, avoid 'Bambi' and 'The Bear'. Not to mention 'Finding Nemo'.
