I hate to be the type of guy who uses social media to try and sell stuff, but any of you who play Magic: The Gathering are going to want to check this out.

Behind this cut are links to several lots of Rares, Foils and Beta cards, each lot with an opening bid of just $1.99 with no reserve, each lot sitting completely unnoticed in a sea of other Ebay auctions with similar titles. By my best approximation, there's about $100 worth of cards up there with no bidders and no watchers.

So what do you think... did I list these wrong? Should I have just listed each individual card for 99-cents or something? WHY DOESN'T ANYONE WANT MY CARDS?!?!?

I've priced over 5000 cards this week alone, so what's a few more? XD

The lot "MAGIC THE GATHERING MTG LOT OF 9 RARES Mirrodin Scars" is about $4.30 in cards, based on prices from findmagiccards.com, so the base bid is only $0.31 over the estimated value.

The lot "MAGIC THE GATHERING MTG LOT OF 8 RARES ELSPETH TEZZERET" is about $4.70 in cards, based on prices from findmagiccards.com, so the base bid is $0.71 over the estimated value. All were reprinted in other sets, though, in contrast to the previous lot, where most were never reprinted elsewhere.

They're not overpriced, but they're also not so underpriced that they're going to grab attention, either.

Some of those cards are from different sets than mentioned. Higher resolution pictures would help because the buyer could see what symbols are on the cards and maybe even the names of all the sets represented could be in the listing description.

Base bid + shipping, I should have said.

I wouldn't worry about the betas. They'll get bid up soon enough.

Thanks :) I'm actually so out of the loop, I don't actually know which set each one is from (embarrassed). I'll leave them up like that, if anybody buys them then great and if not then they'll be gifts for my Niece :)

findmagiccards.com is free and easy. You just enter the title, find the match, and it will show a pic from each set so you can tell which is which.

That's so awesome, thanks! Bookmarked! I had been basing my original values on prices I found on retailer websites, which I guess *was* kinda silly... I know better than that! I'm a Comic Book Guy! The marked price is NEVER the VALUE!
