I love trying to figure out the background and history of found items. My parents call me up all the time and explain to me items they found at yard sales. I can usually find out something on just about anything within minutes, but some are a bit more tricky. They send me pictures, and I start researching. It's fun. A challenge. And I always learn something, even if it's not a particularly useful something.
