AMAZON MP3 UPLOADER: "I need to update before we continue... is that cool with you?"

ME: "Sure, Amazon MP3 Uploader, go ahead."

ADOBE UPDATER: "HEEEEYYYYY!!! I need an update, tooOOooooOoo! NO FAIR! If you wish to update Adobe NOW, please close the following programs - Amazon MP3 Uploader! Install now? Install later?"

ME: "Oh Adobe... you're just so cute when you're all jealous! I'll install your updates later... right now it's Amazon MP3 Uploader's special day... this is his first update!"

ADOBE UPDATER: "HMPH! Well if you DON'T install these updates NOW you MAY experience performance issues with your Adobe software! I hate you I hate you I hate you! You're not even my real dad!"

*Adobe Updater then stomps off to her room and slams the door behind her, turns the volume on her stereo all the way up and blasts Katy Perry music through the entire neighborhood*

I can't stand Adobe's constant update requests, installation extortions, and the crap they pull. I uninstalled everything except Flash Player and use alternate applications now. They don't ask you if you want an icon for Acrobat Reader on your desktop, they just put it there. If you delete it, every time there's an update, and even sometimes when there's not, it puts the icon back out there. That's just one of many things they pull. *sigh* I could almost swear it acted just like you said. The icon on the desktop was an attention grab. XD
