Not sure what went wrong...

captain_slinkyNot sure how this happened, but Molly is still awake.
She had a VERY long day which included getting up early, driving all over the place for garage sales, hours of playing and a picnic at a splash park, a lengthy trip to Bellevue Square, Chinese food for dinner, an intense bout of house cleaning and then a regular dose of Melatonin before snuggling down on the couch for a movie.
Maybe it's the stimulation of having the TV on that's keeping her awake? The plan was to just let her fall sleep from the Melatonin (and exhaustion) right there on the couch for a bit of a fun Summer-Time treat, but she is AWAKE. Not "So tired I can't fall asleep" awake, but plain old alert and ready to go AWAKE, like we had experienced all the way up to the days where we started letting her take Melatonin.
She says that it's just because sometimes she falls asleep and some times she can't because she's just not tired. Lordy how I know that feeling, poor thing :(
I really hop I haven't passed on something bad to her :(
EDIT: She misses staying up late with me and watching movies... this IS my fault :(
