captain_slinkySaturday at the convention has entirely too many conflicts of interest for me :(
If I go to the 10:30am "PAUL & STORM VS. WIL WHEATON: THE CAGEMATCH" panel, I'll miss the 11am "ELFQUEST: 35 YEARS AND BEYOND!" panel in room 3AB :(
If i go to the noon "RAISING A READER" panel in room 201, I'll miss the noon "SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS" panel in room 3AB :(
If i go to see Walter Koenig at 1pm, I'll miss the "INSIDE TABLETOP WITH PRODUCER BOYAN RADAKOVICH" panel in the Gaming Room, which will apparently have an opportunity to game with Wil Wheaton! And even if both o those are full, I'd miss the "MEET COMICS4KIDS, INCORPORATED" panel in room 201 that I wanted to see.
There is nothing at 2pm that I need to see... the "WORLD EXTREME PENCIL FIGHTING LEAGUE (WXPFL) PRESENTS - COMICON COMBAT!" in room 201 could be fun, but hey a fellow has to eat lunch at some time right?
3pm has nothing for me, but I'll probably need to get in line for the Adam West & Bert Ward panel in The Big Room NOW since it starts at 4pm.
4pm I'm watching The Dynamic Duo. No compromise, even though I could be watching a panel by NASA in room 201. Good to hve a back-up I guess...
5pm is tough - stand my ground in The Big Room to see Carrie Fischer, or fight my way down to the Gaming Room for a sneak-peak at the sequel to "The Gamers: Dorkness Rising"???
6pm has nothing I'm interested in *whew*!
7pm I'll probably be at the SOE/Dead Gentlemen Premier-A-Palooza in room 3AB since I *am* a contributor/supporter, but I'd also kind of like to go see "THE CRITICAL HIT SHOW: A LIVE DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS COMEDY EXPERIENCE" in the gaming area...
After that, it's all gravy. We'll probably end the night by playing games in the gaming area, look for The Canadian (the rockabilly hipster dude we met last year), maybe even check out the costume ball :)
