Last night I slept for at least 12 hours straight, no nightmares. Worst thing that happened all night was trying to decide if President Obama would want his bologna sandwich on white bread or 7-grain (he had said he didn't really care and trusted me to choose the best one).

Woke to find brand new Half Price Books coupons in my email (hooray!), put together an AWESOME outfit for Molly to wear to school and have decided to do some very Disney stuff today... just not sure exactly *what* yet. It's going to be a great day :)

I did a little reading up on the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom home-version of the card game, and it sounds like it stinks. But they're still pretty and you can get free cards daily when you visit the Magic Kingdom, but cards 61-70 are no longer available for free. They're only available in $12 booster packs now. I enjoyed playing the game at the park. We will probably go again in a year or so, but it's hard to say. I'm on a medically restricted diet for now, and it's a weird one. I have to make virtually everything from scratch because I have to avoid all grains, lactose, starches, soy, table sugars, corn syrup, and certain other foods. Can you imagine going on a trip for a week and trying to eat like that? I am doing well with not having many cravings and there's lots of foods I enjoy, but I haven't figured out how to eat out yet.

THAT'S INSANE!!! Trying to imagine what you CAN still eat... celery with a dash of salt, maybe? Yeah, a Disney trip would kind of blow like that, being surrounded by The Happiest Eats In The World :( Hopefully it's temporary?

I made up rules for a game with the cards that's very simple - communal deck, 5 cards per hand, each person takes turns playing cards in either a back-row "Defensive" position or front-row "Offensive" position. Cards in hand can be played for their "Support" value as an "Instant" to boost your defender or attacker cards for one turn. It plays a lot like the Yu-Gi-Oh game *should* play based on how they show it in the cartoons :)

Still need to look up the real instructions...

Breakfast was homemade pork sausage and scrambled eggs with salsa and pepper jack. I made tasty almond flour herbed cheese muffins. I love avocado and tuna salad with a dash of salt & pepper. I'm making lentil hummus and roasted butternut squash right now. I'll make homemade yogurt this weekend, too.

It is just that it is such a pain to follow away from home. It is more expensive to get the rooms with kitchenettes and I would not want to spend that much of my time cooking and wrangling food while on vacation. It is likely two years of this to fully heal and change the gut bacteria and immune response, and then I can slowly add some foods back in, making it easier. I think my first one may be chocolate. One month down, twenty three to go.

Ack! I'm sorry :( That sounds very difficult.

It's not as bad as it sounds. I feel better and have more energy. I have enough energy to make my food AND do other things now, so it's a net gain. Before, I spent lots of time just curled up in front of the TV or computer, not doing much because I didn't feel well. I've even started to exercise a little again. If it makes me feel better and might put me into remission, I'll keep doing it. :)
