Another brilliant idea!

As you may or may not know, Doctor Doom is the ruler of a European country called Latveria. Despite being ruled with an iron fist by one of the most evil villains in the Universe, it's really quite charming! Kind of like a communist version of Belgium, with lederhosen and beer and sausage and oppression and poverty.
MY idea is to follow the lives of those brave men and women who serve on the Latverian Bureau of Tourism. Amongst the normal office folk, I figure there are plenty of second-string and third-string villains that Doom has helped "go straight" over the years in order to just get them out of the way, maybe even a few brainwashed super heroes who don't remember their heroic past. SO while our overall plot will be something like drumming up interest in Septemberfest, we'll allow for B and C plotlines as well that focus on Carl from accounting having to keep blasting Mike Heroman from the Graphics Department with the mind-wipe ray every time he starts becoming heroic, or Sally from Human Resources having to confront The Killer Tiger about his inappropriate "native attire" on Casual Friday. And of course, Doom comes in and murders the department head once a month or so replacing them with a new guy.

Date: 2013-04-09 06:29 pm (UTC)I'm working on a script right now :) Was thinking I could even do it with public domain clip art, since I picture everyone in the office dressing in late-80's/early-90's fashions (they're just now getting the first season of Sienfeld over there).
The first three-panel gag strip I'm writing involves Karen from HR and Lord Tiger.
PANEL 1:
KAREN: "Mister Tiger, thank you so much for coming in! I'd like to talk to you about-"
TIGER: (Interrupting) "LORD Tiger!"
KAREN: "Excuse me? I..."
PANEL 2:
TIGER: "YOu may address me as LORD TIGER, Scourge of the night! With the power of TEN TIGERS, granted to me when I stole The Idol Of The Ancients from that Jungle Shrine so long ago! Forever cursed for my crime, I stalk the night in search of HE BLOOD OF THE INNOCENT in order to quench my unholy thirst!"
PANEL 3:
KAREN: (Looking at file in her hands) "It says here your name is 'Kyle'..."
TIGER: "YES! LORD KYLE TIGER! YOU MAY-"
KAREN: "-And that your criminal record involves little more than two attempts to steal delicious Hostess Fruit Pies?"
TIGER: "It says that?"
KAREN: "Please have a seat, Mister Tiger."

Kyle "Lord" Tiger is standard businessman, suit and tie, luchadore Tiger mask that may or may not be his actual face. Oh, and paws instead of hands.
