Seriously, it's exciting. A webcomic may sound less than serious, but it is an artistic endeavor. You are able to put things into art that you might not be able to get out any other way, even if that art is stick people or pixel people or DnD miniatures or clip art or even (gasp) actual drawings. I spent a lot of time on my backdrops even though they weren't really crucial to the comic or even recognized by most readers. And the dialog... Try getting a whole world across in three frames. It's a good exercise for any kind of story telling. Break a leg :-)
