Confusing matters
Apr. 18th, 2009 08:43 amBoth my Brother and my Sister who had been planning on attending this Family Get Together thing have backed out at the last minute for very similar reasons to my own - WE NEED A WEEKEND FOR OURSELVES!!!
Brother called me last night to say that this makes it very inconvenient for him to drive his daughter up there just so she can watch my kid.
And Molly was up all night with a terrible cough, and is now so stuffed-up that she can no longer pronounce any of the cartoons that she wants to just lay around and watch today instead of going to the park. "Drabon Tawes", "Boos Coos" and "Spibuh Mang" are all she wants to do/watch today, even when offered such treats as Chuck E. Cheese, The park and/or Swimming :(
Of course the WORST part of this is that I now have a very legitimate use of the LAMEST EXCUSE EVER.
