Breakfast: Skipped
Lunch: 15 Buffalo Hot Wings
Dinner: Boiled chicken leg and thigh
Gym: 3.1 Miles, 12.6 miles total (I've made it to the 8th St SE Exit off of I-405 in Bellevue WOO!)
Clean: 45/15 x1, 20/10 x2
See??? What'd I tell ya! Carb Withdrawls are now *gone*, and I have ENERGY ONCE AGAIN! Not only did I get in a TON of much-needed cleaning AND do my longest/fastest Gym session I've ever had, but I ALSO was able to do quite a bit of blogging today - the type of blogging that makes me very happy :)

Date: 2013-06-11 07:49 pm (UTC)The cravings really do go away once your body gets used to the new way of eating. And once you've made it through the initial workout period, the soreness is significantly lessened and you can push yourself quite a bit more. I'm doing that right now. I upped my weights and cardio yesterday and I feel pretty good. Today is a rest day, and I'm back to it tomorrow. After a couple more weeks of it, you might want to look into HIIT (I've done the Tabata and Little methods). With Tabata, after your warm-up, you do 4 minutes of alternating max and low intensity in timed bursts. It's difficult no matter your fitness level because you are pushing yourself to your own personal max with short breaks, but recovery gets faster as you get more fit. It increases your cardio fitness and your body continues to burn calories at a higher rate for several hours afterwards. After the 4 minutes of HIIT you can continue your usual walking or your other workout.
I was frustrated a little yesterday because I have been working out but I had a low-energy day yesterday. Sometimes the body just won't cooperate. Ah well. Today is pretty good.
