Enjoying a carefully weighed-and-measured 15 carbs worth of Popcorm while watching Pokemon with Molly and putting plans in to motion :)
Moral Dilemma: Should I try to monetize my hobby of 1980's Saturday Morning history??? If it becomes a "Job", will I soon come to hate it???
I love the wheeling and dealing aspect of getting this going - helping friends get recognition, making new friends, reconnecting with old contacts, it really has my blood pumping!

Date: 2013-07-19 04:15 am (UTC)My standard way of doing this in the past has been to find out how much they cost at the most, usually like $15 each for an order of 5 shirts. I then say "Hey, who all wants one of these cool shirts for $15?" and start taking orders, usually I get about 20 to 25 people responding *instantly*. The more I order, the more discounted they become - under 5 is $15 each, 5 to 20 are $12 each, 20 to 50 are $10.25, 50 and up are $9 each, etc. So I take all the "Extra" money and pump it in to printing extra copies of the shirt and make it to the next discount level. The more I sell, the more I make and the more I earn off of late comers who say "Ooh ooh me too please!"
It's quite a rush :)
