I don't want to go to New York City, I want to go to New York City in 1978 when Times Square was a vile den of scum and villainy! Porno theaters, flashers, muggers, prostitutes, all the stuff of legend!
I don't want to go to Hollywood, I want to go to Hollywood in the 1950's when every movie and TV show was actually being filmed there!
I don't want to go to what the places have become, I want to go to where the places *were*.
I also want to go to the places that never were but could have been.
I don't want to go to Disney World, I want to go to Wald Disney's Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow that has one small, unique theme park as an integral part of its social economy.
I don't want to go to Persia, I want to go to the lands described by Scheherazade.
