065 - Streak, broken :(

captain_slinkyI had a post written and ready to post as of 8pm last night, then got distracted by The Walking Dead. I *thought* I had hit the "Post" button, but apparently I did not :( Not sure if I should allow myself a double-posting today as a catch-up or not :( Anywho, here's the post as it was going to be posted last night, which would have/should have been changed by the three episodes of Walking Dead we watched after that, but still here it if for the record:
We are finally binge-watching The Walking Dead! Having read the comic up to number 50 before giving up because it was TOO GOOD and legitimately FRIGHTENED ME (Certain issues made me stop, drop the book, cry, toss the book across the room, etc), I'm glad that it deviates so far from the original comics. We just finished Season 2 and when I saw The Prison, I *knew* we were coming up on the most shocking bits of the story (including the part that made me walk away from collecting the book). If those certain events make it through to the screen, I'm not sure how Crystal will react :(
I am shocked, amazed and proud of my Schmoopie for giving this a try, seeing as how she abhors horror, gore-for-gores-sake, war, death, etc... but the story is just so good we have to keep going!
