215 - Take THAT, Veronica Mars!

captain_slinkyCongratulations to Mystery Science Theater 3000 for becoming the biggest crowd-funded video project in the HISTORY OF THE INTERNET!
The very first thing I ever did on The Internet was to find and print out everything from the MST3K FAQ (some twenty dot-matrix printed pages). I tried selling bootleg VHS copies of the show but eventually found that giving them away was much more satisfying. I upgraded my cable for the first time EVER specifically so i could get the Sci-Fi Channel and see new episodes. Seeing the MST3K Movie at the Paramount Theater in Seattle was a literally LIFE CHANGING EVENT for myself and Penny, my long-time platonic companion (seriously, our lives changed FOREVER that night because of a chance encounter with one of her old high school chums).
